J.C. Tran is one of the more recent poker professionals in the tournament field. He began as a college student, eventually graduating with a degree in Business Administration, and then started playing cash poker games in Sacramentos local card rooms. He recently started entering major tournaments, but has already made four WSOP final tables and seven major WPT final tables, including a second place at the 2007 L.A.
