Barry Shulman is not only a poker player, but a poker entrepreneur. He is the publisher of Card Player magazine and owns and operates Cardplayer.com. Besides being a poker business man, he is a great poker player with a lot of tournament experience. He has numerous final table finishes including his biggest win at the 2003 Five Diamond WPT No Limit Hold'em Event, winning 230k. Before Barry got seriously involved in poker, he graduated from the University of Washington with an accounting degree and got a job as a real estate developer in Seattle. He was very successful and was able to retire fairly early. Then Shulman bought Card Player magazine and created Cardplayer.com. Barry is now playing and traveling to tournaments all over the world. He is married to his wife Jan and has two sons. His one son, Jeff Shulman is also a poker player and editor of Card Player magazine. In the future, Barry hopes to win the WSOP Championship.
