Jennifer Harman is easily one of the best cash game players in the world. She plays the biggest limits at the Belagio and is a consistent, big winner. Besides her amazing cash game play, she is one of the top ranked tournament players. Only recently has she decided to spend more time on her tournament play, and she has already won two WSOP bracelets. Her first bracelet was won in 2000 at the deuce to seven event. This was her first time ever playing deuce to seven and she took down the whole thing. What a natural! Her second bracelet was from 2002 in a limit hold'em event. Of course every poker great has a story leading up to their current status. Jennifer began playing poker at the age of eight, taking over for her father at the table when he was losing. She usually would make him even. Around 1998, Jennifer was working as a cocktail waitress and investing money like usual. Some of her investments she made at a younger age paid off around this time and she made a solid bankroll. At the age of twenty one, Jennifer was playing poker for a living. She played $20-$40 limits for about seven years, then she spent another eight playing $75-$150. Now, she is playing the biggest limits available and has the record of taking down the biggest pot in history at a major casino, a 1.7 million dollar pot. Besides being a poker player, Jennifer is a writer. She has written articles for multiple web sites and she wrote the limit hold'em section in the book "Super System 2," by Doyle Brunson. Jennifer also does public appearances, talking about poker. And to top it off, she is a philanthropist. As many people know, Jennifer needed a kidney transplant around the end of the 2004 World Series. She was having a rough time with this, as any person would. but she was lucky enough to find a match within her loving family and received a kidney from her niece. She is currently putting together the "Jen Harman Challenge" to make people recognize how important and life saving it is to be an organ donor. Setting aside her busy life, Jennifer is currently married to Marco Traniello, a famous Italian hairdresser. They have five dogs, four blue heelers and a pit bull, and travel the world to meet the demands of both their careers. Jennifer is undoubtedly one of the best poker players in the world, and shouldn't be segregated in a females category. She can compete as well, probably better, then any male does at the table. The only difference is, she looks better doing it.
Jennifer Harman Traniello is a live poker tournament event player and has played poker since 1995.Harman Traniello's poker tournament results and statistics include 1 1st place finish, 13 final table appearances, and 33 in-the-money finishes for $1,567,138 in total poker tournament event earnings over the years.
