Ken "Skyhawk" Flaton was a great poker player until his untimely death on November 9th, 2004 as a result from a heart attack. He was one of the top seven-card stud players and great at mixed games. Ken had one WSOP bracelet from a seven-card stud event in 1983, a first place at a 2001 Legends of Poker event, and a first place at a 2003 Five Diamond WPT seven-card stud split event. His biggest cash win was from a 2000 WSOP seven-card stud event, placing second and winning over $100k. Ken was married to his wife Crystal and had a son Aaron, who he took pride in very much. He would bring a photo of his son at every poker table he went to. Ken made a huge contribution to the poker world and helped shaped poker to its current form. Ken Flaton touched many peoples lives and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Ken.
